Welcome to SO Italian Food and Wines, a branch of SO Prosecco Limited Ireland.
We are an Italian food and wine importer based in Dublin providing wholesale quality Italian products to a small network of Artisan Food Stores, Restaurants and Wine Shops. We have an online wine shop where you will find a selection of Italian wines from every region of Italy.
After living many years in Italy, and some around the world working for a multi-national drinks company, we decided to return to Ireland and bring with us a taste of Italy by sourcing authentic quality wines from small independent Italian producers, people with a passion for their land and visionary in their wine-making.
We later branched out introducing a very fine selection of high quality Italian food including Sicilian artisan cakes, a selection of Extra Virgin Olive Oil, traditional risotto recipes, hand made biscuits, the list goes on.
Our journey has led us through the 20 Italian regions and our ever-evolving portfolio now includes many wines from Val d’Aosta, Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, Umbria, Puglia, Sicily and Sardinia. Our food range also offers a large selection of favourites from throughout Italy.
In the meantime we have also developed our own brand of Prosecco for the Irish market called SO Prosecco which offers a range of premium Spumante Cuvée Prosecco DOCG from the Valdobbiadene region, a Frizzante DOC Treviso and a Rosè Spumante Brut from Castelvetro di Modena.
