PIEDMONT PANETTONE - GALUP PINEROLO

GALUP IS NOT JUST A BRAND. IT’S A STORY. A WONDERFUL ONE. Galup is a name, an original recipe, a Panettone that stands out on its own.

Before Galup, the only panettone around was the Milanese variety, then Mr Pietro Ferrua, Galup Founder father, around 1922 invented the low panettone with a hazelnut frosting in Pinerolo.

The idea was his own one, as was the recipe. A brilliant, tasty innovation that offers a new take on an ancient tradition from the Lombardy region, giving rise to a new staple of fine Piedmontese pastry-making. The recipe has been fine-tuned over the years, but the basic characteristics have remained the same as those created by Pietro Ferrua back in 1922, which led to his pastry shop earning the title of licensed supplier for the Royal House of Savoy. 

A PANETTONE WITH A FAMILIAR TASTE.

A panettone that tastes of desserts that are well made, to be enjoyed. Just like at home. A panettone that you won’t forget because when you open the packaging, you can see and feel that the frosting is hand-made: irregular and different for each Galup product, thick and crunchy. To this day, the panettone is produced in a family setting, by men and women who know each other by name and preserve the memory of an important story.

GRAN GALUP TRADITIONAL PANETTONE - 1922 EDITION

To celebrate the 100 years of the GALUP company, Galup created a unique elegant packaging to deliver its original recipe of the traditional Gran Galup with fresh candied fruits and top-quality raisins.

Garnished with Italian hazelnut “Tonda Gentile Trilobata” frosting, enriched with whole toasted almonds and pearl sugar.

PANETTONE with MOSCATO D’ASTI - The Gran Galup with raisins soaked in Moscato d’Asti DOCG Moncucco wine, covered with the Italian hazelnut “Tonda Gentile Trilobata” frosting, enriched with pearl sugar and whole toasted almonds. Without candied fruits.

PANETTONE with CANDIED APPLE - A fresh and delicate interpretation of the ancient Galup recipe, with candied apples. Covered with the Italian hazelnut “Tonda Gentile Trilobata” frosting.

PANETTONE PEAR & CHOCOLATE - An even more delicious variety, with extra dark chocolate drops and candied pears in the dough. Covered with Italian hazelnut “Tonda Gentile Trilobata” frosting.

PANETTONE with MARRON GLACES - The cake contains the finest artisan-candied chestnuts to delight the palate with exquisite softness. The frosting, as tradition dictates, is made with Italian hazelnut “Tonda Gentile Trilobata”. The Galup panettone with Marrons Glacés is a masterpiece of haute patisserie, starring our Country’s finest ingredients. PANETTONE with DARK CHERRY & CHOCOLATE - The Galup, enriched with candied black cherries and extra dark chocolate drops in the dough.

PANETTONE PEACH, AMARETTO & CHOCOLATE - An original and creative take on the age old Galup recipe, inspired by a classic dessert from Piedmontese tradition: stuffed peaches. Candied peaches and whole extra dark chocolate drops in the dough, topped with our Italian hazelnut “Tonda Gentile Trilobata” frosting, enriched with a decadent crunchy amaretti biscuit topping.

PANETTONE CHOCOLATE DROPS - The Galup with extra dark chocolate drops in the dough, covered with Italian hazelnut “Tonda Gentile Trilobata” frosting. With no candied fruits or raisins.

PANETTONE GIANDUIA - A unique and special, even more delicious take on the ancient Galup recipe. A panettone filled with Streglio Gianduja cream, completely covered in dark chocolate and crunchy pralined Italian hazelnut “Tonda Gentile Trilobata”.

PANETTONE SALTED CARAMEL - A Panettone in which the real star is the unusual encounter between the sweet side of white chocolate and the salty character of caramel. No candied fruit, no raisins and a contrast that becomes a fascinating harmony in the soft, naturally leavened dough. Covered with Italian hazelnut “Tonda Gentile Trilobata”.

PANETTONE COFFEE & CHOCOLATE - A recipe created to bring to the Galup the magic of the combination of the sweetness of white chocolate and the intense and persistent personality of coffee. A combination that our pastry chefs interpret with wisdom and balance, mixing powder and cream of Costadoro coffee in the dough and adding white chocolate drops before the slow leavening.

PANETTONE TRADITIONAL - The original recipe of the traditional Gran Galup with fresh candied fruits and top-quality raisins. Garnished with Italian hazelnut “Tonda Gentile Trilobata” frosting.

PANETTONE RAISINS ONLY - The original Traditional Galup recipe but without candied fruits. Only quality raisins in the dough and with Italian hazelnut “Tonda Gentile Trilobata” frosting.

PANETTONE PARADISO - The unmistakeable Galup recipe, even more delicate, with citrusy orange notes, butter and fresh eggs. Covered with icing sugar.

PANETTONE COCONUT & CHOCOLATE - Flakes of rapé coconut, obtained from the pulp of the nut and dehydrated to enhance its sweetness and texture, are incorporated into thae dough with chocolate. An explosion of flavours that becomes a harmony of contrasts. To garnish, the Italian hazelnut “Tonda Gentile Trilobata” glaze, even richer thanks to the sugar grains and nuggets of dark chocolate.
