SARDINIAN CRACKER BREAD - CHERCHI
Panificio Cherchi is an artisan company founded in 1995, by Mrs. Rosalia, that specialises in manufacturing and marketing of parchment bread crackers, a variety of the traditional Carasau bread.
Twenty years of experience and professionalism allow the Cherchi family to ensure a high quality product while preserving the flavours and traditions of Sardinia. The main strongpoints at the Cherchi bakery are authenticity, the goodness of all the products, the choice of high quality raw materials and an advanced laboratory which fully complies with the strictest food regulations.
To demonstrate the concrete commitment of the company, we chose to guarantee each stage of the production process, from food safety to product constancy: today Cherchi is in fact the proud owner of the highly acclaimed “IFS food certificate”.
The Cherchi bakery is located in Alghero in the province of Sassari, a tourist centre that attracts millions of visitors every year. Alghero is one of the main cities of Sardinia, and one of the gateways to the Island, thanks to the airport which is located nearby.

PARCHMENT CRACKER BREAD : SIMPLY GOOD.
The Bread Parchment is a rectangular sheet of bread, thin, crispy and golden in colour. They are made with only four ingredients: flour of durum wheat semolina, water, yeast and salt. Simple ingredients for a unique, high quality product.
By virtue of its versatility it is a valuable ally at the table, it goes perfectly well with all dishes, from salami to cheeses, from meat to fish, from jams to chocolate.
Crispy and a little salty, the delicate crackers enhance the taste of every dish. A simple product that requires complex preparation by expert hands.
The parchment bread is produced with the help of advanced machinery that observes age-old procedures and respects traditions.
The Guttiau parchment bread is distinguished by the addition of olive oil and is usually used to accompany aperitifs and wines.
