Agrisicilia has always concentrated on the quality of its products selecting only the very best Sicilian citruses and fruits. For that Agrisicilia prepare their marmalades and jams only when the fruits are in season to ensure the freshest taste for the consumers experience.
The fruits are processed immediately after their picking in order to maintain the scent, taste and fragrance.
First accurately selected they then follow a processing course which is strictly manual: the fresh harvest is washed, then peeled and chopped. The “peeling” is also strictly manual so as to allow the best selection of citruses. The slow cooking simply requires the addition of sugar to the fruit at the end. Once the optimal cooking time has been reached, the product is immediately put into jars which are then vacuum-capsuled in order to guarantee its preservation.
This is the way Agrisicilia has been preparing for over twenty years its marmalade and jams.
